Specially commissioned charm bracelet revealed in Cotswold garden hunt
THROUGHOUT the summer, hundreds of visitors to four of the finest gardens in the Cotswolds – Painswick Rococo Gardens, Mill Dene, Batsford Arboretum, and Abbey Domicile Gardens – have been taking part in a treasure trail, in an take on to win a magnificent, specially commissioned silver charm bracelet merit hundreds of pounds.
Now, for the very first time, the treasure’ has been unveiled for communal view; firstly at Mill Dene and then at Batsford Arboretum. The bracelet includes hard-silver charms representing each of the four gardens – a snowdrop for Painswick, engraved soda water-droplet for Mill Dene, the Naked Gardeners for Abbey Lodgings and a Buddha for Batsford.
It was created by well-known jewellery intriguer Caroline Richardson, at her studios at The Guild, Chipping Campden.
There is still metre to win this unique, valuable and beautiful piece of jewellery, as the closing rendezvous for entries to the competition is Wednesday, September 30.
All you have to do is visit each of the four gardens and interpret one clue in each. The winning entry will be drawn on Monday, October 12.
Fall fashion

Day dresses and skirts : The silhouette is simple for the sheath and the pencil skirt, with a scarf adding a pop of color. Splendid layering of jewelry takes women in jersey dresses from desk to dinner. Brute prints continue, grays and purples surface, and plaids exchange, including bold buffalo plaid.
Suits : From inelegant shoulders to a nipped in waist and skinny or wide leg covet, the look is clean and bare . . . until you add a frilly blouse, necklaces and a perform stridently to cinch the jacket.
Blouses : Crisp white blouses - ruffled, trimmed in set upon or sporting a bow - hang out below shorter jackets or form a backdrop for a scarf or lion-hearted necklaces. Peasant blouses add color for weekend tax.
Sweaters : Long boyfriend cardigans - with or without a narrow zone at the waist - suit skinny cords or denim jeans, leggings and slim pants, including ankle-after a long time. Short sleeve or three-quarter sleeve sweaters, many with big cowl necks and oversize buttons, exertion for layering.
