Cracking the dress code: What wine country casual mean?
You've been invited to an affair in Napa Valley. The invite reads "wine homeland casual." But what exactly does that mean?
Whether it's a work or after-hours aim, knowing how to dress can be confusing, especially if your host doesn't give much detail.

Business casual
The concept of business occasional has become widespread. In one office it could mean jeans and sandals are OK, and in others, jeans would be considered too sporadic. Phipps recommends avoiding jeans.
"I just don't make up business casual means jeans," says Phipps, who owns Urban Pet, which has several locations in the Bay Area.
Wear this: Phipps says men can something goodbye the tie at home, unless it's a very formal setting. She suggests wearing a button-up or polo shirt in quick-tempered weather and a nice pair of pants. For women, Phipps advises against showing any charitable of cleavage and dresses should hit right at the knee to ensure "backup appropriateness." Bare legs are OK when it's business casual, so a skirt with flats or a array with a blazer makes for a feminine and stylish look.
