MMMC recognized for implementing “Get With The Guidelines”
Maui Reminder Medical Center (MMMC) was recently honored for its fulfilment in using evidence-based guidelines to provide the finest possible care to patients through The American Heart Association/American Thump Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” program.Get With The Guidelines is a “clinic-based, quality-improvement program designed to make sure that hospitals consistently care for cardiac and stroke patients following the most up-to-girlfriend guidelines and recommendations.” The program deals with coronary artery murrain, heart failure and stroke, with more than 1,400 hospitals currently participating. MMMC and 814 other hospitals were featured in a exceptional advertisement this August to celebrate their receipt of Get With The Guidelines Heart Decay Gold Performance Achievement Award.

A total of 961 awards were delineated for achievement in coronary artery disease, stroke and/or heart neglect treatment. Hospitals recognized in each category achieve at least 85 percent compliance to the program’s measures, with those achieving 85 percent compliance for 24 consecutive months receiving the “Gold” honors.
